The last couple weeks of training have gone really well. I totally neglected to blog my runs last week but I managed to get in 25 mile in 3 days since I got my wisdom teeth out. Since Week #3 I’ve been hitting my miles, I’ve gotten some good fast paced runs in, and my legs feel great.

Some things I want to focus on this week:
#1 Scheduling cross training workouts . (Doesn’t mean it can’t be fun)
A lot of my cross training is done spontaneously when I’m at the gym or needing to bike somewhere. I want to make an effort this week to plan out cross training workouts to make sure I don’t slip back into injury.

#2 Doing a challenging training run when I don’t want to.
I’ve been pretty lazy this summer. When I don’t feel up to do a long run, I’ll hold it off until the next day. If it’s nasty outside and I’m hanging out in my bed I’m not super eager to do that 4 mile easy run I promised I would. This week I want to do all these runs as planned and listen to my body but not my lazy mind.

#3 Spending my days active and my nights sleeping.
Lately I have been staying up late watching YouTube videos or playing Bustabit only to wake up and do the same all day. I can even see this is a waste of my time. I need to break this habit and do fun shit like the old Morgan.
